‡ CHOIR
HISTORY BOOK - The updated and revised "History of the Bach Choir",
by Alison Sheil, can be purchased at a cost of £5. The book traces the origins
of the Aberdeen Bach Choir from the beginning of the last century to the present
day.
‡ RECORD – Yes, a record. Remember them? This must surely be a collector’s item by now! Made by the choir in 1983 - "Music from St. Machar's Cathedral Aberdeen" can be purchased at a cost of £3. It contains recordings of Bach's Motet No.1 "Singet dem Herrn" and "Lo, the full, final sacrifice" by Gerald Finzi.
Special Offer! Buy both Alison Sheil's book and the record for £6.
‡ RECIPE
BOOK - Aberdeen Bach Choir has produced its own recipe book, with proceeds
going to choir funds. The book contains recipes from choir members (and conductor!)
and guests such as the composer John McLeod. For £4.50 you can own this unique
book of traditional recipes from countries such as Scotland, Italy and France.
‡ CD - Aberdeen Bach Choir does not currently have a CD available, although if enough interest is generated we may consider it as a possibility. If you would be interested in purchasing a CD containing music sung by Aberdeen Bach Choir, please E-Mail Margaret Downie and include 'CD Request' as the subject.
